Rocket League Season 9 Guide (Start Date, Rewards, Rocket Pass Items)

Psyonix revealed a curious cinematic teaser for Rocket League Season 9, a week before revealing all about the update.

Rocket League is now going through one of its best moments, since Epic Games acquired its developer Psyonix, they have had the resources to update it with new content periodically. In this case, they gave the first glimpse of what will be Season 9 of the game.

Rocket League Season 8 End Date

The competitive season 8 is confirmed to end on December 7, 2022, officially.

Rocket League Season 9 Start Date

It is expected that Rocket League season 9 will follow straight after the end of Season 8 and go live on the same date - 7 December 2022. At the latest, it will likely go live on Thursday 8th September 2022. Even if there is a delay, Rocket League Season 9 is probably going to start sometime between December 8 and December 15, 2022.

Although we still don't know everything that this new Season will bring, we do have its first preview:

As we can see, this teaser doesn't reveal too much about the update: we only have a cinematic with two cars crashing on the court, and some kind of crystal ball breaking. Will it be a hint of the Season 9 theme, or will it be something else entirely?

For now, we can only speculate, but luckily we won't have to do it for long. We say this because Psyonix stated that on December 1 they will reveal everything about Season 9, and there the doubts will be over.
