How to get Level 40 in Season of Discovery - SOD Phase 2 Leveling Guide

1. Quests

While you can't gain experience points right now, you can still work towards completing quests before the cap even rises. That means you can fill your entire quest log with a bunch of new quests from ranges of level 25 to 27 in that whole area. At this point, you're a lot stronger than you were when you first hit level 25 if you've been doing the raid or any dungeons at max level for any given amount of time. You're very strong for your level, so you're able to do some of those more difficult quests as long as you pick them up, you can probably do it. If not by yourself, grab a friend or two you'll be able to do it.

When to turn in quests?

When it comes to determining the quests that you can do now, make sure that you're able to get 27 just based on turning in all of those quests. Once Phase 2 comes out and the level cap is raised, should we go turn them all in? No, you want to save those! For about up to five or six levels above what the quest says, you're still going to get the same amount of experience because the change comes in mainly. 

2. Logistic Orders

You may be concerned these quests are not going to benefit from the killing experience, that's a completely valid concern. One of the developers on the Season of Discovery did mention that they're going to be giving us other opportunities for getting experience. There have been some hints, adjustments, or changes to the supply and logistics. The best thing you can do is stack up your logistic orders with filled supply crates so that you can turn them in once the adjustments are once the gate is raised.

3. Stockades

Alliance: Players have a best Season of Discovery Phase 2 leveling area and leveling dungeon that they can make use of from levels 25 to level 30 which is in the sweet spot of where Phase 2 is going to start. You can either hop into a five-man party or you can go in solo and go into Stockades. Stockades is going to be super useful where you can solo it probably about five times an hour which is going to get you to that reset cap and get some pretty decent gear.

Horde: There is a strategy involving corpses running to the Stockades. The method includes repeatedly dying, corpse running, and navigating through the canals to reach Stockades.

4. Addon

The logout skip add-on can be used to show where they would be teleported if they performed a logout skip. Logout skip refers to a situation where the server cannot determine the character's location due to floating in the air or being in a location with complex terrain, such as a cave or structure. As a result, the server teleports the character to the nearest graveyard.

The primary purpose of a logout skip is to exploit the game mechanics, allowing players to quickly reposition themselves by intentionally causing the server to lose track of their character's location.

5. Gold Farming for Mounts

Players are reassured that mount prices have decreased in Season of Discovery, making them more affordable. The predicted cost for the mount itself is around 36 gold, with an additional 10 gold for riding training.
