With so many prophecy lenses to choose from in Last Epoch, determining which provide the best value can be unclear. Read our Last Epoch 1.0 prophecy lens tier list, we’re ranking the best lenses.

Last Epoch 1.0 Best Prophecy - LE 1.0 Lens Tier List & Ranking

Prophecies are an integral part of character progression in Last Epoch. The idea of prophecies in Last Epoch is to convert favor into something useful for your characters. A good lens will always significantly increase the amount of items you get per favor spent either through reducing rerolls needed or increasing the yield per prophecy which are both two sides of the same coin. Next, let's check the Last Epoch 1.0 best prophecy lens!

S Tier

  • 2x Uses

As we all know, the goal of a good lens is to increase the value you get per favor spent, while the other lenses work by increasing the chance of finding a given prophecy. This one just cuts the amount of prophecies you need in half for a given amount of items, making it universally good. Therefore, the 2x Uses lens is one of the most cost-effective lenses in Last Epoch 1.1. Even if it doubled the favor cost it doesn't. It's only a 1.8 times multiplier which makes it even better. It's an easy S tier.

  • 2x Quantity

2x quantity is pretty much the same, with similar benefits as the 2x uses lens. Instead of completing objectives twice, you get the bonus immediately. The trade-off is more costly than the 2x use but it's the same powerful.

A Tier

  • Weapon

The weapon region by far has the most prophecies and almost half of them are unique. A lot of the prophecies are for generic categories like melee weapons or caster weapons which you probably don't want if you looking at a specific thing. The weapon turns out to be even more effective than the 2x use or 2x quantity lenses for specific unique weapons of a given type. So because this is usually good and it's a best third Last Epoch 1.0 lens, it'll go into the A tier.

  • Keys

Selling keys is currently one of the best ways in the game to make Last Epoch gold. They sell for 6,500 gold a piece for the arena keys and the prophecy itself is extremely cheap. Because of that alone, we'll put this into A tier.

  • Idols

There's a lens for each different type of idol which means that this idol doesn't flood the pool by increasing the weightings of all idols. If you want a specific type, this is pretty strong and it'll help you fill out your idol slots. Idols are one of the things that tend to take a while to get good ones so this is going to be a useful lens for building your character.

B Tier

  • Uniques

Unique is a very powerful Last Epoch 1.0 prophecy lens because we don't have many other sources to get a lot of unique. For example, echo rewards only give one at a time, events like mage chest might give one, and nothing else in the game gives a lot of unique. So you'll probably want to target them pretty significantly.

  • Jewelry

This one represents any of the three jewelry lenses. The accessory region has the smallest pool of prophecies so you probably won't have that hard of a time getting what you want. But these lenses still help and you need something to fill the spot with. If you want a specific unique, you could probably run the unique instead since this only gives a 10% boost versus the 15 of the unique. Even though there are more uniques than any given jewelry type, it's still better. If you want multiple different types of uniques then run the unique. That being said, it gets a B tier on this Last Epoch 1.0 prophecy ranking.

  • Armor

It's the same story as jewelry. If you want multiple different types of armor that are unique, take unique. If you want a specific armor, you could go either way but probably unique might still be better.

C Tier

  • Monolith

Monolith blocking lens can be useful in some scenarios. This lens specifically is the only one that blocks two types of conditions. Monolith will block monolith itself and also high corruption. Most people do like monoliths so this won't be something you ever run. But some people actually like arena or dungeon, if that's the case, this is a two-birds with one stone type of blocker. It still only makes it to the C tier on this LE 1.0 lens tier list because most people like monoliths.

  • Runes

There are a few decent runes however a lot of them aren't something you need more than how many are already going to drop for you in the wild. Rune of creation is extremely powerful however you only need to do it a handful of times to get more than enough.

  • Glyph

Glyph of Despair is the only one that you'll want out of this. You're never going to have a shortage.

D Tier

  • Block

Unlike monolith blockers, it only prevents one out of the five conditions, or six if you consider the generic one. One thing to note is that each additional blocker is more effective than the last. For example, if you are a big fan of the arena, you could block monolith dungeons and campaigns, then you'll only get arenas in generic conditions. The block is only a D tier.

  • Exalt

Rares gave more exalts per favor spent than the exalts thanks to the 25% chance to convert rares into exalts by a circle of fortune rank 8. If you do want exalts, you're probably better off taking the lens for the specific type you want rather than exalt itself. Then prioritizing rares will help you minimize the favor wasted on rerolling.

  • Shard

Shards will be probably one of the least important ones because of how many shards you get.

F Tier

  • Set

Most set items are bad in the current state of the game. Even if your build uses them, you probably only need one set since there's no LP to farm for. By the time you make it to the end game, there's a good chance you might already have your set anyway. Therefore, this one has to be F tier.
