If you want to play a ranked match in Rocket League, you have to select one or more filters under the point Rank in the online game and then search for a match. You can recognize the ranked matches by the golden ball next to the modes. Ranked games are possible in the following constellations:
Solo Duel (1 vs. 1): Here the individual skill plays the biggest role. In the arena you only face an opponent.
Double (2 vs. 2): The classic double is a popular mode in which you have to coordinate with your partner optimally.
Solo Standard (3 vs. 3): Depending on your level, you will be paired with two other players here and compete against another team of three.
Standard (3 vs. 3): Probably the most popular playlist allows you more matchmaking options than the single standard. Teams can meet here and measure their abilities.
There is a leaderboard for each option. For example, if you play only in double, you ranked only on the corresponding leader board. Before you risk your first ranked matches, you should first train in the normal playlist matches to be better prepared.
Since Season 2, your skill rating has been divided into Tiers. This makes the system more complex but also a little more opaque, so that you can not always understand exactly what exactly points are there for. In addition, if you're still "Unranked," you'll need to complete ten ranking games in a single playlist to determine your tier rank. Otherwise, you will remain unranked.
At the end of each match you can see your pet progress. You can also see him in the matchmaking screen. The better tier you reach, the better Rocket League items you will be rewarded at the end of one season! The following are the Rocket league Season 7 Ranks Tiers available in game now:
Note! The Champion Division is reserved for a very small percentage of the players. The game always adjusts.
If you decide to play competitive Rocket League, you should regularly visit the Rocket League Tracker. Depending on whether you are playing Steam, game 4 or Xbox One, you can log in with your player IDs and then see a lot of statistics and rank progress of your playing career in Rocket League.
Since Season 5 you also get Season Rewards, which are tracked in a separate level. This Season Reward Level is independent of your skill rank and has nothing to do with the rewards at the end of a season. You start as in multiplayer on "Unranked" and comes closer with each victory the level rise in the Season Reward Level.
For each new level, you'll need twelve wins, gradually rising from Bronze to Gold and beyond. Keep in mind that you will not drop in the Season Reward Level if you lose a game. However, the level only increases if you play in the same level as your Season Reward Level or beyond. For example, if you are currently in the Bronze League, do not increase your Season Reward Level if it is already silver or higher.
The rewards for your Season Reward Level are currently only available at the end of a season. In the future, you should soon receive rewards directly on a leveling up. But this rewarded Rocket League skins are untradeable in the Rocket League Market.
The biggest announcement that has come from Season 7 was an announcement that the rank distribution for Duels (1v1) and Solo Standard (3v3) will be adjusted in order to bring a higher percentage of players into Champion and Grand Champion ranks. We are not too sure what that will mean. Now you can check a briefly database of the Rocket League Season 7 Rank Distribution on https://rocketleaguestats.com/global.
