Rocket League Blueprint Trade-In System Guide - How To Trade Up Blueprints?

3/7/2020 4:27:39 PM

Many fans have been waiting for since the introduction of the blueprints, now finally the Rocket League Blueprints Trade-Ins drop into the game alongside with the Rocket League March Update. How does it work exactly? Here are all the details you need to know about the Blueprint Trade Up System.

Rocket League Blueprint Trade Up System

Since every crate has been converted from the old to the new item concept into a blueprint in the inventory of the players, many players have been lying around hundreds of these templates uselessly since then.

Because upgrading to "complete" Rocket League items or skins costs in most cases several euros (you need to buy Rocket League Credits with real money). Now the developers have insight and enable the so-called “trade-ins” for the blueprints as well. But what does that mean? Very simple: From the time of the patch, you can proceed with the blueprints exactly as you did with items from crate series and with the "normal" items that you regularly receive as a reward after online matches.

How Does Blueprints Trade-In Work In Rocket League?

This works as follows: You take five items - or future blueprints - of the same rarity level and upgrade them to a random copy of the next higher level. As a result, many blueprints finally have a more concrete benefit. Although you will still have to pay to make usable items from blueprints, you can upgrade templates of objects that you have multiple times or definitely do not want to a rarer blueprint. Anyway the Blueprints trade up is also follow the below rules:

Trade-In Rules:

- Players must trade in 5 items at a time, no more, no less

- Trade-in Items must be of the same item rarity (Uncommon, Rare, Import, etc.)

- Trade-in items must be in the same series

- Random drops do not have any series they belong to, so they only need to be the same rarity

- Item slot is not taken into account, only item rarity, so you can use any combination of cars, Toppers, Decals, etc. in a single trade

- Items received from Rocket Pass, the Item Shop, Blueprints, Event Stores, or Fan Rewards cannot be traded in

- All items above common are tradable, except for the highest level items (Exotic for random item drops and Black Market for Blueprints)

- The received item will be one rarity level higher

Random Drops Trade-In:

- 5 Uncommon = 1 Rare

- 5 Rare = 1 Very Rare

- 5 Very Rare = 1 Import (Import Painted Body or ): These items are painted versions of the classic cars and s from the original game and they always come painted

- 5 Imports = 1 Exotic (Exotic Painted Wheel. Painted editions of classic Wheels)
