Rocket League Blueprint Update - V1.70 Patch Notes: Everything About The Big Season 13 Updates

12/5/2019 11:30:17 AM

Rocket League is again the topic of the last month of 2019. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, the big Rocket League Blueprint update comes, which not only ushered in the Competitive Season 13, but at the same time brings the Rocket Pass 5 into the game. Additionally comes the new premium currency as well as the new shop in Rocket League. All keys and boxes have to give way, the latter will be replaced by blueprints.

Rocket League Competitive Season 13 Starts & Season 12 Rewards

When the update goes live on Wednesday, December 4, 6pm (UTC), the competitive twelfth season in Rocket League will also end and the associated rewards will be paid depending on the league reached. If you have collected at least ten wins per league reached, you can look forward to a new shiny Decal that can be used on all modifiable vehicles.

For all Grand Champions, there is also a corresponding title, depending on the mode in which you have reached the highest rank. The season's rewards we have already presented here in detail:

Immediately after the end of the Rocket League Season 12, the start of the Season 13 follows in the game. In each playlist, it is then again ten games to complete to get a new rank. In all likelihood, there will not be a "hard reset" again. This means that you should be ranked at a similar level as your final rank in the preseason.

Rocket League Blueprints, Credits, Item Shop

No more gambling in Rocket League. That's the quintessence of the changes that Psyonix makes with removing the various crates from the game. Because from the time of the update, there will be no more crates in the game. They are replaced 1: 1 by blueprints of the respective series, on which the item as well as any modifications are to be seen already in advance.

Afterwards, you may spend a set amount of credits to upgrade the blueprint to a complete item in your inventory. Rocket League Credits replace the keys in this context at a ratio of 100: 1. You will get 100 Credits credited to your account for each remaining key in your inventory.

These credits are also used to shop in the new shop. This offers you in a rolling system random items from the former crate series and DLCs, which will also no longer be commercially available. The offers in the shop change partly in a 24 and partly in a 48 hour cycle. More information can be found in our accompanying article: Rocket League Item Shop Prices and Information

Rocket League Rocket Pass 5

Last but not least: Of course with the update follows the upcoming Rocket Pass, which many players are already looking forward to. First information about the rewards had recently become known. Thus, the cosmetic items and the associated battle car "Chikara" in a Japanese style. There is also the full price of the Premium variant of 1,000 credits earned back through the stages.

Rocket League Spike-rush Mode

One last we have or Psyonix still. Because with the update also the Spike Rush mode comes back. This allows friends of spine power-ups from Rumble mode to have loads of fun. It will be available directly from 7pm and will remain playable until next week, Monday, December 9th, 7pm.
